Two Day Update

Sunday I had a strong opinion on Camelot Kitten @ 5/1 in the Knickerbocker Handicap run at 1 1/8 at Belmont Park. My charge made a middle move then flattened out in the final eighth with no rally, a disappointing effort.

Today I made two wagers from Parx: In the 3rd race Discovery Bay went to an apprentice jockey for todays effort with speed and a drop in class I knew he would be on the lead in this race, and he opened up a big lead after the first quarter mile of the race and cruised to an easy victory paying $15.80/$7.00 Win and Place .In the days next event I went for a win only wager and was a sure winner until the odds on favorite nailed me at the wire...Good Bet/Bad Result.

The two day tally showed an addition of 6.5 points on the account. Tomorrow I will be looking at Keeneland Racecourse in Lexington Kentucky for it's Fall Meeting. The only problem is the weather is uncertain and I will wait for an update on the conditions.

All The Best!

Low Volume Day

Struggled a bit today to connect with a few  high quality wagers. Hopefully, I am not waiting for the 'perfect' wager, which can stifle the confidence of a successful player in the long-term. I finally settled on the Belmont Park 3rd race where War Eagles Return (9/2),was part of a two horse entry in the 7 furlong event. He made a late run but never threatened the race winner so I settled for my place price and actually added 1.545 points to the account for the day.

High Volume Day

Wagered on six races on this Saturday from Belmont Park in New York and Keeneland Race course in Lexington Kentucky. Three winners at $10.40 $9.80 and $9.60 in addition to place pricing for a daily profit of 13.055 points. Some high quality racing at these two venues and some vulnerable favorites that I was able to take advantage of. that's a good part of winning is identifying the bad favorites and getting value on your selection.

Since October 1

Back in action since October 1 after a five month layoff, a much needed freshening period for family, work and long anticipated racing research.
